Meet the Team
Alex Aubert
Alex has proudly served the members of the Johnston-Grimes Metropolitan Fire District for seven years. Over that time, he has held multiple leadership roles within the union, including four years as Union Steward, a year as Treasurer, and now serves as President.
He has been actively involved in two rounds of contract negotiations and has worked diligently to ensure strong, fair representation for the membership. His experience in union leadership reflects a commitment to accountability, transparency, and steady progress for the organization.
Under his leadership, the focus remains clear: serve the membership and strengthen the union. Alex believes in pushing the organization forward every day — building on past successes, identifying opportunities for growth, and continuing to elevate the union to new levels of professionalism and effectiveness.
He is proud to lead a group as dedicated, unified, and hardworking as the members of this local.
